Either Or? No, I am in Between, I am neither and more!

I am not your Either – I am the In Between.

I am not “Mr.” I am not “Ms.”

I am not what you expect.

And I am not the opposite, either.

I am a human being.

Complex. Fluid. Real.

I question your black-and-white thinking.

I challenge your binary oppositions.

Because life lives between yes and no.

Between right and wrong lies emotion.

Between man and woman lies so much more.

I am not undecided – I am decidedly different.

Not either – but also.

Not against – but for togetherness.

Despite difference. Because of difference.

The Self-Determination Act gives me the space.

I fill it with dignity.

With the question: Who are you—when you ask who I am?

I don’t want to tear down systems.

I want to plant a new way of thinking.

One that doesn’t divide us, but connects us.

Not despite our differences, but because of them.
